Hello Shire,

Here's what I wrote down or remember from the shire meeting:

OFFICER REPORTS

Minster of the Lists
- Spent most of Blackstone Raids checking authorizations at Troll

Castellan
- HealthSouth demo seems to have gone well
- Would like a good showing at Maplewood
- Morgantown Public Library has approached us about a demo for kids but preferred date conflicts with Pennsic.

Web Minister
- Updates Coming Soon
- In response to a question about photo policy:  requires written consent from everyone in the photo

Knight Marshal (Given by the Regional Marshall, Gareth)
- Averaging 8-9 bodies at the weekly practice and is growing

Archery Marshal
- Had 2 practices in the last week
- Making targets for War College

Chamberlain
- Still need to inventory Iron Key
- Noted Don Anais's donation of Aluminum Gauntlets to Iron Key

Exchequer
- Balance is $2548.13 with no outstanding debits
- Have received two reservation checks (4 people) for War College

Minster of Arts and Sciences
- Had latest meeting at Ailionora's on May 1st where folks worked on award badges and armor
- Wondering if Ailionora would still like to host the June A&S meeting

Thrown Weapons Marshal
- Had a couple of practices
- Valgardr & Juliana have now installed siege shutters to protect windows
- Bjorn, Rota, Fiachna & Juliana in the running for the competition that ends in October

Herald
- Obtained herald's supplies
- Please contact the herald if you have heraldry to submit or think you have heraldry submitted and haven't heard anything back

Seneschal
- "No news" is good news!

OLD BUSINESS

HealthSouth Demo
- Anais won both tourneys
- There were 8 heavy fighters
- and even more fencers
- There was an A&S display

War College
- Site visit done and placement of activities is worked out
- Need site tokens (feast tokens may be taken care of if Bjorn can find the leftovers from one of the sherwoods)
- Need to coordinate distribution of $$$ soon

Fall Crown Bid
- Submitted & Confirmed should hear about selection in the next week or two

NEW BUSINESS

None but...

AFTER MEETING ADJOURNMENT

One of the meeting attendees brought a bottle of soda to sip while the meeting was going and was the recipient of "The Hairy Eyeball" from the deli proprietor.  Another of our number had dinner elsewhere on High St. and couldn't finish the meal.  This resulted in a carry-out box being in-hand when attending the meeting.  Said attendee was harassed at the door for bringing food in from outside the joint.  Needless to say, there was discussion about alternative locations for the monthly business meetings where there would be less pressure to buy food.
