Unto Master Valgardr do I send greetings, 

  I hope this missive finds you and the populous of your fair lands all
happy and healthy as most of us prep for Pennsic.  

I  have a problem to which I am hoping you can assist me.  

Ok,  more like I am  I  am emailing you  to beg  your assistance!

 I sent out a request on the AEthelmearc list a while back asking that
people make small donations of snack type bits for the AE royal party and
have only had 4 responses so far. 

 To that end I am emailing each barony and asking who from that group is
coming to war and who would be willing to donate - some cheese, cookies,
deviled eggs, etc..  The party is for all the people of AEthelmearc and I
would love to see people from each part of the kingdom donate just a bit.  I
understand that times are lean for all of us but if several people donate a
small amount no one person /or  small group of people needs to be greatly
strained.  

 Can you check with your group and encourage any and all that are coming and
might be willing to donate some small nibble/ party snack to touch base with
me? Perhaps they just missed the posting?  ( I am including it below as a
point of reference. )  Or perhaps they have just not gotten around to
contacting me.  (one can hope!)

I write to remind people that again this year at War there will be a
grand party held in AEthelmearc Royal on Monday of War week. To
this end I THL Bryn Ni MacRose do most sincerely call out to the many
talented cooks and aspiring cooks of the kingdom that any and all
who would be willing and able to donate yummy snack bits- be they
cookies, cheeses, finger foods of what ever sort - (all donations
greatly accepted - period or not glaringly modern encouraged )

PLEASE do offer something to the party this year! We had some
wonderful people step up last year including: Two children from
Delftwood! ( Thomas Stuart Goodwin of Delftwood age 9 made a
monkey bread kind of thing and Margare't Dathidottir of Delftwood
age 11 made cheddar biscuits ) If you were one of the generous
souls who pitched in last year I thank you and can only hope you
will step forward again this year. If you did not offer something
last year I hope you can/and will this year.

Or should I ask if you will be one of the people out done by the
children of our glorious kingdom?
