        Alicia’s 27th Birthday Bash

We would like to invite you to our party to celebrate our new home and
the lady of the house’s 27th birthday.  We will provide hot dogs and
sausages, hamburgers, drinks, “dinnerware,” and birthday cake.  
Please
bring a side dish, snack, or dessert to accompany the main course. 
Feel free to bring your own favorite drinks as well for the evening
time.  We would also appreciate it if you would bring your own
chair(s), for we have a limited supply.

We hope to have several activities available for our guests in addition
to socializing and catching up with friends and family.  For our SCA
friends, feel free to bring your armor and other martial equipment. We
may even try to pull off a small “castle battle” using our nifty 
stone
retaining wall.  For all guests, we will have an archery target set up
for traditional and non-traditional archers alike.  We will also have a
wood target set up for axe and knife throwing.  Experienced or novice,
we hope everyone will share in some of the activities we enjoy daily.
After feasting on our favorite dishes, we plan to light the night sky
with a classic Livesay bonfire.  Marshmallows will be roasted and
Smores will be assembled as fire twirlers offer entertainment for those
brave enough to stay after dark.

We sincerely hope that you are able to attend our little get-together
and grace us will your good company.  If you need more information or

unnecessary, only your presence and a side dish are desired.

Here’s how to get to our house:  From the South:  Take your best 
route
to I-79 N.  After you pass Clarksburg and Bridgeport, take the Jerry
Dove Drive exit (Exit 124) to Rt 279.  Turn right at the end of the
exit.  From the North: Take your best route to I-79 S.  After you pass
Fairmont and Saltwell Road, take the Jerry Dove Drive exit (Exit 124)
to Rt 279.  Turn left at the end of the exit.  For everyone:  Follow
279 E until it comes to an end.  Turn left onto Rt 50 E.  If you pass
Joseph’s Nursery on your left you are going to correct way.  If you 
end
up in Bridgeport, you went the wrong way.  Follow Rt 50 E through
Grafton.  You will eventually come to the intersection of Rt 50 and Rt
119; there will be a stoplight at this point.  Once you pass under the
traffic light, you will go approximately 2 miles.  You will pass a
large sign on your right for Selby Signs.  Once you pass this, there
will be an almost immediate left turn inside a curve to Old Rt 50. 
Turn left onto Old Rt 50, then make an immediate left turn.  Go up the
hill and you will see our house (stone with a large front yard) on the
right.  Call if you get lost.
