Greetings, 
 
I am Éadaoin ingen Chanacáin (mka Keirin Ralff) of the Barony of Delftwood
here in AEthelmearc, and co-autocrat of my barony's largest event, The Feast
of the Seven Deadly Sins. It is one of Northern AEthelmearc's premier
fencing events. 
 
My co-autocrat, Lady Helene al-Zarqa, and I extend to you and the populace
of the Misty Highlands an invitation to this event to be held on Saturday,
16 February 2008.   Following a full event day, there are plans for a
post-revel at one of our local establishments, so you can make your day as
long or as short as you desire.   For those driving long distances, there
are local hotels and there have been a few members of our populace who have
offered crash space.  
 
This year we are extremely excited about this event, as we have a new site,
which will accommodate several new activities, and many old favorites.
Along with the themed fencing tournament, look forward to the return of the
Den of Iniquity, where many adult-themed games surrounding the Seven Deadly
Sins will be offered. There is also a family-friendly room, which will be
home to a Turkish coffee house and hoffla, and will house the entries of our
sotlety and A&S competitions. 
 
The food we will be serving keeps with our Silk Road theme, starting with a
dayboard from Japan, and continuing on through feast, where each remove is
another stop on the road, ending in Italy. It is sure to be a delicious
journey! 
 
We would love to have your shire represented at our event to make new
friends and have a great time together!   Enclosed in this invitation is a
link to our event announcement and a list of local hotels.  If crash space
is needed by anyone, please contact either Lady Helene or myself to let us
know so we can arrange it.  Please share this information with your populace
and other communities with which you are involved.
