April Shire Meeting



Meeting opened at 5:00 at the Quiet Dell Community center with 15 people in
attendance.



Marshal report- Fighting will begin outside starting next practice.



Fencing- Going well



Thrown weapons/Archery- Gearing up for warm weather to start. (I am unable
to read my notes if you wish to expand on this for the newsletter please
email me)



Exchequer- Balance is 2216.49 and the statement is balanced, and there is a
report due on the 30th.



Chatelaine- No email from any prospects yet, made motion to be impeached,
and had nothing to report, is waiting for the Health South Demo on the 21st.
The above motion was never seconded and subsequently withdrawn.

Web Minister- The web site is updated



A&S Minister- Exists, Had a good showing at Ice dragon, Rota took second in
the novice, and Bjorn took first. Juliana took 2nd place, and overall they
took 2nd place.

Seneschale- The Household of Rolling Dragon gifted us 4 Shire aprons with
our heraldry embroidered on them, made by Lady Nivah, and Valgard modeled
for us.



OLD BUSINESS



Health South Demo- from 12-8 on the 21st would like people to show up at 9am
to help set up. Need fighter, fencers and artisans



Sherwood- Still trying to contact Rurick to see if he is coming. Will try to
get to them at Coronation since we are pretty sure that is an event he will
be at, everything else for Sherwood is fine.



Academy- 30 registered classes and several more not registered yet.
Everything is well, but still need help with food. Preparing to make tokens
for the teachers at the Fairmont Althyngs



Motion made- to Change the name of Yule to the name of Luau, since the name
of the activities seems to have an effect on the weather,  after much
agreement nonetheless the motion was withdrawn.



Shire shields- are still in the works, still trying to get in touch with the
guy, if all else fails we will use the allocated money and make them
ourselves, And shire tabards are also still in the works



Call for help cleaning up was made



NEW BUSINESS- None



Meeting was adjourned at 5:30
