Greetings one and many,
Please post this message to your lists so others may be invited to this
class. I know there are many in the Barony of Blackstone and within the
Shire of Port Oasis that will enjoy this opportunity.
The Sylvan Signet, THL Antoinette de la Crox is holding a Basic Skills
Illumination Class that will also include gilding.
The hours will be from 12-noon to 4:00 p.m.
It is a non garb afternoon of instruction. Students may wish to bring
supplies if they have them, if not. . . come along and we will help you make
a list of things you will need. We will be able to provide supplies to those
who do not yet have a collection of materials.
The site for this event is Huntington High School, #1 Highlander Way.

>From the North: take 64 West to Exit 11( Rt 10, Hal Greer Boulevard). At the
bottom of the exit you will turn left onto Rt. 10 South and travel 4/10 Th's
of a mile and turn Left at the traffic light. This is Highlander Way,
>From the West: take 64 East to exit 11, and turn right at the bottom of the
ramp. Travel about 1/5Th of a mile and turn left at the traffic light.
At the traffic light you will see a large brick sign on the left hand side
of the road.
The large brick sigh at the bottom of the hill says Huntington High School.
Drive approx 1 mile and stop at the guard shack. You must STOP at the guard
shack and let them know you are going to Mr. Dick's Classroom B-155. The
guard will point the way from there, but follow these directions. Just as
you leave the guard shack, you will need to turn onto the parking lot to
your left. Drive parallel to the soccer field and turn left at the end and
drive behind the bleachers. Stay on the paved road and turn right, my room
is the one behind the third green storage building on the right.We'll have
some signs out and be looking for you.
