I just discovered today that I have been exposed to bacterial meningitis. I
tested negative for the illness, but since I have not been vaccinated for it
and the because the incubation period is usually 3 to 7 days, I thought I
should let you all know. If you start to experience a headache, high fever,
or sore throat, you should immediately let your doctor know that you may
have been exposed to meningitis. Like I said, I am not exhibiting any
symptoms, so the risk is relatively small, but I thought I should let you
